David J Colella, Founder & CEO
David Colella, NerdsToGo founder, brings more than 15 years experience in Technology Sales, Marketing and Management to NerdsToGo, Inc. David, 38, served various sales, management, and executive positions with various high-tech companies. He began his career with IBM where he built his business foundation by serving in both sales and management roles within the company. Prior to NerdsToGo, he served as President and CEO of WebInflight, a technology integration company that worked with United Airlines and US Airways. Additionally, David served as the General Manager and Vice President of a few large technology companies where he was responsible for building teams of people to provide technology based solutions to fortune 500 companies across the globe. John Mills, Director of Franchise Development
John Mills serves as our Director of Franchise Development. He brings almost 30 years of franchise experience to NerdsToGo. John has a results-driven background in building and maintaining strong relationships with those who wish to pursue the purchase of a business and become ultimately their “Own Boss.” His unique experience in both large retail businesses and individually owned businesses gives him the insight to really guide people in the right direction. Wayne Chasse, Operations Manager
Wayne Chasse serves as our Operations Manager and General Manager of NerdsToGo, Connecticut. He brings over 25 years of technology, management and operations experience to the position at NerdsToGo. Wayne has more than 15 years of Management and Operational experience in leading internal and external customer care environments at large and small companies. Wayne is responcible for overseeing company operations and ensuring our people in the field have the tools and resources to run their businesses. Wayne oversees our call center, infrastructure and IT needs. He is responsible for directing and developing the skills of various teams of technical resources. He is responsible for directing and developing to ensure NerdsToGo is current with latest technologies both internally and to our customer base and plays an integral role in the strategic growth of NerdsToGo. Prior to NerdsToGo, Wayne served in several management positions with companies delivering technical and business based solutions to clients nationally. Wayne holds certifications with HP, IBM, Microsoft, and Dell.
Mauricio Korbman, Regional Vice President & General Manager
Mauricio Korbman serves as our Vice President and General Manager of NerdsToGo, Massachusetts. He joins NerdsToGo after being Founder and CEO of TekTuners located in Newton Massachusetts. Prior to TekTuners, Mauricio was the co-Founder and former CTO of Tibersoft, a Software Development Organization located in Westborough, Massachusetts. Mauricio brings over 20 years of providing computer support to corporations, developing custom software, and providing technology solutions to organizations. Mauricio holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Systems Engineering and a Master of Science degree in Computer Systems from Boston University.
William Trevers, Executive Vice President
William Trevers serves as an Executive Vice President for NerdsToGo, Inc. William has over 35 years experience in Executive Management with Enterprise Corporation, Godaddy and Honey Baked Ham. With this experience, he brings years of franchise operations and franchise development experience to NerdsToGo. William attended Yale University and oversees all of NerdsToGo's legal affairs.
Robert Tunmire, Board Member
Robert Tunmire is currently an Executive Vice President with The Dwyer Group of Waco, Texas. Robert's association with The Dwyer Group® dates back to 1975 when he became a franchisee of Rainbow International® Carpet Dyeing & Cleaning Company. In 1982 he joined the World Headquarters staff and has since served in several capacities. He was Rainbow's Executive Vice President of Franchise Counseling until 1989, at which time he became the President of Mr. Rooter® Corporation, where he was responsible for building that franchise network. In 1993 he was appointed Executive Vice President of The Dwyer Group and in 1998 he was also appointed President of Glass Doctor®. In 2005, Robert stepped away from his role as Glass Doctor president to concentrate on all activities of the franchise sales department for all of The Dwyer Group brands as executive vice president. Robert has spent over 30 years in the franchising industry.
Louis Lanzillo, Board Member
Louis Lanzillo is currently a Vice Chairman and Senior Vice President of UNICCO in Newton, MA and brings 20 years of experience to NerdsToGo’s Board of Directors. He is responsible for strategic planning and execution, risk management and mergers and acquisitions at UNICCO. He previously served UNICCO as VP of Finance & Administration and as President of the company's New England Division and Facility Service Division. In 1995, he established and was CEO of the Berkshire Staffing Group until its acquisition by The Computer Merchant, Ltd. where he was appointed COO. Prior to joining UNICCO, Lanzillo was a manager at Arthur Andersen LLP in the Emerging Growth & High Technology Practice in Boston. Lanzillo holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Massachusetts in Amherst where he graduated with the distinction of Summa Cum Laude.
Kristina Whipp, Board Member
Kristina Whipp, NerdsToGo Co-founder, brings more than 13 years of experience to the Board position at NerdsToGo. Whipp is an Educator by trade and has provided intregral consulting services in the startup of NerdsToGo. She provides ongoing support in the marketing, sales, and operations of NerdsToGo. Whipp's background traverses many industries including national retail, human resources, education and psychology. Whipp earned her MS in Human Behavior and Business Administration from St. Joseph's University, West Hartford, CT.
Neal Weinberg, Advisory Board Member
Neal Weinberg is President of Sales and Marketing for Top TV Bytes where he is charged with overseeing this entertainment web property. His vast relationships in the entertainment and advertising industries along with his experience founding and growing successful companies have proved invaluable to NerdsToGo throughout its infancy. Prior to joining Top TV Bytes, Mr. Weinberg was a co-founder of Screaming Media, subsequently purchased by CBS MarketWatch. He also served as a board member for L90, recently purchased by IAC/InteractiveCorp, where he was responsible for securing the initial rounds of financing and establishing the New York and London offices. Prior to L90, Mr. Weinberg served as an Internet media consultant for Paramount Pictures, where he focused on the establishment of the Paramount Digital Entertainment group. Mr. Weinberg began his career at ABC Television Network in 1989 and is a graduate of Emory University with a BBA in Finance.
Andrew Canepari, Advisory Board Member
Andrew Canepari brings more than 14 years of technology sales and marketing experience to the company, and is currently the VP of Marketing for Argent Software. Since 1996, he has helped grow several online technology businesses, including computer retailer Outpost.com which successfully went public during his tenure, and FirstBoat.com which he founded in 1999 and continues to run today. Previously, Mr.
Canepari spent several years at software giant Computer Associates (CA), where he was consistently one of the top-rated sales executives. Mr. Canepari holds a BA in Economics from the University of Connecticut and an MBA from Central Connecticut State University.
