I took my computer in for repair over a week ago. I was told they had to order a part, I agreed to pay overnight shipping to get it there. I got the run around. I was told the part came in, than I was told it didn't. Next they stopped communicating with me. Often the phone rings and rings with no answer. I leave messages and no one calls back. The few times I get to talk to someone they sound like I am bothering them. No word the computer. I had told them it was a business computer and I needed it back quickly. If they can't or won't fix my computer I want it back so I can take it some place else. Are these guys still in business??

Terrible experience and wasted 3 weeks of my time trying to set up Microsoft for my business. Nick came out to give us a consultation, which went fine, but no follow through on calls or emails after that even though we signed a contract with them to get us set up. Always had an excuse for "why" he didn't respond. Very unprofessional with a "whatever" attitude. Now starting over after they wasted my time. Posting this so other businesses don't have the same experience. Definitely don't waste your time here.

Took my computer in. Got a call asking me to bring my power source. They had my power source. Got another call where the tech made it sound like all that was wrong was that Windows was corrupted but that it would cost a couple of hundred dollars to recover my files. I told them everything was cloud-based, no need to recover files. Two hours later got a call telling me that my hard drive would need to be replaced. When I explained that I was unprepared for that expense, I was told they'd knock $100 off if I'd leave two good Google reviews. When I said I was picking up my computer they guy hung up on me. We came and picked up my computer and my husband was told they could make a better deal if we'd let them do the repair. (They quoted me well over $500 for the repair in addition to the $50 we paid for the diagnostic.) I took it to MicroCenter and there's no damage to the hardware. $60 and it's fixed. Save your time and your money and skip this place. Super sketchy business.

Had David come out to my house to fix my printer and wifi, he did just that and even upgraded my wifi system that was much needed. I could not believe how bad it was before, literally night and day. I am the happiest customer ever!

Work is currently in process but it has been going on two weeks and I have had to initiate all inquires with regards to updates. Not headed for a five stars review but will update this based on end result of service. Needs better communication and provide estimate to customer at check-in.UPDATE: So after finally aligning with management and tech bottom line was nothing had been done. Story management provided a few days ago was not what tech did. Arranged to pickup unit and when I arrived it wasn’t ready - had to wait while they made it ready to walk out the door. Save your time and take your business elsewhere. Not professional.

Very fast and decently priced services, tried them, because geek squad is over booked atm- I couldn't be more happier with them , they fixed my slow mac and recovered data from failed disk within 2 days!

My computer wouldn’t boot up and I had to take it in... the first time, it still didn’t work properly, so I had to take it in a second time. David worked on his own time to fix it properly and even delivered it after hours so I could get it during the week. Couldn’t ask for better customer service!

I brought in my pc for repair. The tech noticed my phone was also damaged and he gave me a quote on the screen repair. Everything was priced well so I had them repair both! Fast service and everything is back to normal again. Thanks guys!

I called at 10:48 and described the condition of the phone repair needed - rear glass replacement of an iPhone 10 that was fractured in a spiderweb type of damage. Gentleman on the phone requested I bring it in so they could evaluate it and pay for the part as they need to order the part.I arrived at 3:45 the same day and was greeted by the gentleman who answered the phone earlier when I called. He took the phone back to an office behind the front counter to ask his counterparts for an assessment.Unbeknownst to all of them I could not only see through the window of the office, I could also hear their conversation - specifically the unprofessional guy sitting in his chair with his back to the glass:"We don't do that type of work unless you want to cut your hand up. And if you want to do it, we'll charge $130."The gentleman returned to the counter with a different story than what I just overheard the three of them discuss: "Due to a recent increase in volume of work we cannot take in this type of work unless you want to come back another time. There is also a shop down the street inside the Wal-Mart who specialize in phone repair."I don't trust these guys and will not return. Caveat Emptor.

The repair guys here are very knowledgeable and hard working. I had some strange and uncommon problems with computer and Nerds To Go technicians figured out what my problem was and solved it for a fair price. I've worked with other repair shops that go straight to flashing your hard drive or replacing components until the problem is solved. These guys actually figured out what was wrong and solved the exact issue. It's the difference between using a scalpel vs. using a butchers knife to solve computer issues. I'll continue to use Nerds To Go for my computer needs.

Richardson, TX location:My experience with nerds to go was terrible. They failed to respond to voicemails or emails. The repair took 3 months to complete. The price was never discussed or communicated during the 3 months. Once I finally went in to pick it up it was half the price of the original product. Had this been communicated I would not have it done. Based on the sample they ran with the repaired machine, I am not sure it is even fixed. The owner was not helpful or willing to communicate. Areas for improvement are, communication, customer service and overall professionalism. On the website it says things like: "prompt service, upfront prices, listen, excellence"- none of these attributes were displayed in dealing with them

David with Nerds to Go came out to my house and was really good--I couldn't load Zoom and he fixed that and also told me I could upgrade without exceptional cost. During quarantine I needed Zoom to function optimally with a good picture and sound and upgrading my computer made me able to count on that experience--which is part of my mental health! Both David and Jason the owner are giving 110 percent and they are really smart and bright and capable. And I trust them with my computer!

This company needs to better train their drivers because apparently they don’t know how to drive. I was turning on Campbell today one of their drivers nearly crashed into my truck. He would have been at fault, luckily nothing happened. Hope they handle this situation.

David came to our home to install a cellular signal booster. We tested it prior to installing and it did not work right out of the box. David was very knowledgeable, professional and great to talk with. He is going to help us find a better booster. Much appreciated. For sure will call them again.

One of the worst experiences in my life was trusting my computer to this company. We got a guy from NerdsToGo to update us from Windows 7 to Windows 10. I talked to him about the important things I was doing on the computer and where the things were stored. I am an academic researcher and had almost 500 gigs of publishable research and music compositions on the computer, as well as thousands of photos, many over 100 years old. He acted like he knew what I was talking about, however, in a later conversation it was clear that he had no idea. A few days later he called and informed me the update had failed and all my data had been lost. He kept the computer awhile and finally brought it back to me. He took it to my office, plugged it in, then said he had forgotten something and ran out to his car. I waited and he didn't come back, so I looked out and saw that his car was gone. I called the shop to see what was up, and he answered and said he was not coming back, I'd have to get someone else to work on my computer, and he hung up on me. Very little of my data was on the computer. I called the office out east to be put in touch with his supervisor/franchise owner. They sent the supervisor a message and told me the supervisor/franchise owner should be in touch with me within the day, but of course, no one reached out to me. Currently, my computer is at a data recovery service, where they are performing a "scavenge" in an attempt to recover my data. They told me technicians are always supposed to clone client's data before they go to work on the computer. If the guy had done that, I most likely would not be in the mess I currently am in. Besides the several hundreds of dollars I will be out because of the carelessness of this NerdsToGo technician, I will be out a few months time once I get my system back and deal with trying to organize whatever the recovery service is able to recover. The guy was very cavalier and said he had never having lost anyone's data. If he is still telling people that, it is simply not true.

Thank you guys for going out of your way to help me out, I WAS SO WORRIED about loosing my data doing windows update but David made the possess stress free and quick!After creating a ticket with them threw the website I got a call from the tech like 2-3 mins after. He then came out right away and got to working on my pc as soon as he got there. David showed me alot of stuff i didn't know and even setup my new printer without hesitation.I'm so glad I got this level of professionalism and quality of service at a good price. I will be referring Nerdstogo to my friends and family for sure!

The technician was supposed to upgrade my parents' computer from Windows 7 to Windows 10, and migrate email from an older service to Outlook. The technician did NOT make a backup copy of any files before beginning the work and LOST ALL OF MY PARENTS' FILES in the upgrade process. I believe he likely did a clean install of Windows 10 and then lied about what happened, claiming the files disappeared overnight while the computer was installing a patch. He kept their computer for a week and a half, saying he needed more time to recover their old files.In the end, he dropped off their computer without their old files having been recovered. Then he said he needed to "get something from his car" and drove away.This is unacceptable and beyond unprofessional. A good technician will backup your files before doing something delicate like upgrading your computer. And for the employee to literally pretend to get something from his car as an excuse to drive away - wow. Own up to your mistakes and offer to pay for a professional recovery service in the least.If you work with this company, speak with a manager first and ensure the employee will make a backup of your files first.I feel like my parents were really taken advantage of, and am so unhappy about this.

The first time I brought my daughters laptop in, it appeared to be fixed, but then a few weeks later began having the same issues. Jason took the laptop back in and did a complete system upgrade for an extremely reasonable fee. I was very happy with the service that I received there and would definitely use them in the future!

Great customer service. My mother's computer was going down and we didn't know what to do. I called Nerds To Go and talked to Jason. I explain situation to him and he sent his technician the next day. After several hours working on computer, I got a call from Jason who honestly explained to me mom's state of computer. It was time to get new one. He helped us to buy computer and installed everything needed. His tech came back to mom house and computer was installed. He helped mom to navigate within new computer. I would recommend his company to anyone.

Jason and his NTG Team are amazing! I'm a small business owner, so my computer is my lifeline. The turn around time on repairing my computer was very quick. Jason was extremely knowledgeable and patient. He went the extra mile to explain everything and made sure I understood what needed to be repaired and why. THIS WAS A TOTAL RIP OFF!! I paid $64 for a diagnosis on an external hard drive just for them to tell me that I need to go to a third party. The fact that they were not able to fix it was a risk I decided to take, I get it. What really bothered me is that they couldn’t explain what was wrong with it or if it is even fixable or the data could be recovered. I had questions they couldn’t answer. What was the diagnosis for? I mean did they even open/ look at it? I deserved a better explanation for the money I paid. Not an honest business in my opinion!!

Initially I met Jason and Sarah through my Master Networks chapter. Now that I have used their services, I can confirm my first impression that these are high quality professionals committed to superior service. One of their technicians serviced my home office computer this morning, and I am very confident in his work and advice regarding my ancient PC. In previous years I have been treated in a patronizing way by some of the young techs in computer stores (as just another old guy who doesn’t know anything.) The exact opposite is true at Nerds To Go. Professionalism; great communication; friendly service... they’re awesome.

Brad was super helpful with all the mini jobs I needed done on my school computer that had many important things I needed to make sure didn't get lost in the process. They even cleaned up my computer to where it was looking brand new AND hooked me up with the awesome new liquid glass from CellHelmet! Very friendly and professional. Great experience 🙂
